SdÉ du Granit – Route des Sommets

Non-profit organization whose goal is to stimulate economic and local development in the Granit RCM.

CONTEXT
At the end of the summer of 2020, the Granit Economic Development Corporation commissioned us to apply the new brand image of the Route des Sommets to all its facilities and infrastructure (rest areas, summits, trails, etc.).

Strategy

With the goal of showcasing the must-see attractions along this route, we played with the horizon line in the design of the signage. This cutout evokes the mountainous landscape of the region. Since we also had to ensure the durability of the installations, we proposed a design that is both timeless and in harmony with the environment. Lastly, we also provided recommendations to the Granit Economic Development Corporation regarding material choices, to ensure they would withstand Quebec’s harsh weather conditions.
