FEUS

Design
Mandate
The Fédération des Étudiants de l’Université de Sherbrooke (FEUS) wanted to raise awareness among the student community about sexual violence. The goal was to create impactful visuals aimed specifically at University of Sherbrooke students.

Challenges & strategy
The client was looking for a bold, socially engaged campaign with strong visual impact, one that would both challenge and hold the assault witnesses accountable. The stylistic inspiration drew from OBEY’s visual universe and the propagandist aesthetic of World War II posters. The approach focused on bystanders, urging them to take concrete action to break the silence surrounding sexual violence.
The visuals relied on bright, striking colours and powerful graphic metaphors such as a ribbon covering the mouth or blocked eyes and ears. This bold aesthetic effectively captured attention and sparked immediate reflection. The campaign was rolled out both through on-campus physical materials and organic social media content, amplifying its reach and grounding the message in students’ everyday reality.
